I most definitely will NOT match with most of the women here at this site. So please read this carefully! About me. Ok, here we go. I grew up in a fairly liberal, progressive society here in Canada. That of course has shaped my outlook on the male/female dynamic, on relationships, and on life in general. We all are a product of our upbringing, and for me, that results in me having to say that I do not want, and I am not interested in a religious conservative woman as my partner in life. Having said that, let me add, so that you don't misunderstand me, that I have the utmost respect and admiration for religious, conservative people. I count many of them as friends. I get along great with folks like that and I have genuine affection for them, I just do not want a woman like that to live with for the rest of my days. So if religious and conservative describes you, I am telling you now that we won't match well in anything other than friends. I thought I would just throw that out there to make things clear and maybe save you and me some time. I also am not looking for the "I just want to be a housewife" kind of woman. A full life partner would suit me so much better.
I am now retired and will be moving to the southern Philippines, near Davao City, in April or May. June at the latest I hope. I now have a beautiful son that lives with his mother, my ex gf, in Davao City. I will be moving to Mati, which is a small city about 3 hours drive from Davao. Provincial and simple, Mati suits me well. So, if YOU have no interest in Provincial small town life, we won't match again.
To sum up me personally, let me just say that although I am looking forward to the simple life, I do have some substance to me. I have a backbone and I have common sense. I do get irritated sometimes with women (or men too for that matter) that seem to have no sense at all. I don't like to speak ill of the brain dead, but if you really have nothing to say, if you have no opinion on anything, then please don't contact me! If you don't stand for anything, how can I stand with you? If I needed to lean on you for a while, we would both fall. And I don't want that.

I am looking for an independent, strong woman that has intelligence, wit, ambition and drive. One that has a mind of her own and is not afraid to use it. But here comes the really, really hard part. I also want one that can be submissive at times in our personal life. I am 54 years of age now. No point in denying that, or in trying to hide it or pretending that nature has not or will not take its course. I am not one of those guys in their 50's that will tell you that they are as vital today as they were when they were 18. Hahahaha! Ridiculous. So, given that situation, I feel that for me, at this stage in my life, I need a woman that can be exciting for me. That can give up a little bit of a sacrifice in that department and do whatever it takes to keep me interested and vital. I have had no problems in that department so far, and I want to postpone or delay that day as long as possible. Heh heh heh. I would also like to have at least one more child.
My father is now 90 and is just as active as I am, remaining in good health to this day. My mother is 84 and the same goes for her. So I am sure that chances are, I am going to be around for a long time to come. I have good genes. I do NOT want to spend the next 40 years of my life in total boredom waiting for the end to come. Heh heh heh. Finding the right woman will help me avoid that!
I am looking for a woman that has some self confidence, some sense of self worth, some aggressiveness in her, so it makes perfect sense for me to ease back a bit and see what happens.
