There are several warnings posted throughout the site about posting contact info or URL, but I still get members posting their contact information or a URL in their blog, status update or comments.
There is only ONE place to post contact information and that is in your profile. You can edit your profile if you want to update or add more contact info. We need all members to follow this rule to help prevent spammers from using the site as a place to spam. Only the admin can post contact info or url.
When someone does post their contact information or URL, I have to edit their account to remove it. But for me to look up and edit an account takes up a lot of time I don't always have. If I'm busy, I may simply delete your account since I can delete it in 2 seconds. This is the quick and easy way for me to remove the offending data from a blog, status update or comment. If I delete your account, you will have to join again.
So again, DO NOT post contact info or URL in your blog, status update, or in comments. There is ONLY ONE place you should provide your contact info and that is in your profile.
